Luella is the musical project of 22-year-old Kingston-based artist Liv Whitfield. Her soulful dream-pop sound is the product of a unique collaboration with her producer, bass player, and father, Zane Whitfield (The Blue Stones, The Glorious Sons, Kathleen Edwards). In June 2024, she released and toured her sophomore album, Summer Bummer, a love letter to her final years of girlhood, capturing the bittersweet essence of fleeting summers and the complexities of first love and heartbreak. Following a breakthrough year, Luella returned to celebrate its one-year anniversary with a deluxe edition of Summer Bummer, released July 2025!
